The Apple’s special event this evening has also revealed the new iPod Touch (4th Generation), aside from the Shuffle, and Nano. This new gen has offering an interesting front-facing camera, which has enable the iPod Touch to do FaceTime like what you can do with iPhone 4.


More interesting features are including the Retina display, dual camera (front and rear), slimmer form factor, HD 720p video recording, personalize game center, can go online with 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi (802.11n 2.4GHz only), hook up new headset that uses Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, maps location-based service and built-in Nike+ iPod support.


In its core, iPod Touch 4th Generation has used the same Apple A4 chip as the iPhone 4, and it also got a tri-axis Gyro and Accelerometer for better gaming experience. On the top of that, this iPod Touch has a better battery that could give user a good 7 hours video playback or a massive 40 hours music playback. This new version of iPod Touch is now available at Apple Store, where you can find the 8GB, 32GB and 64GB model selling for $229, $299, and $399, respectively.
