Bang & Olufsen has recently announced its latest active speaker system called BeoPlay A9. It is a wireless speaker system that supports AirPlay and DLNA, which allowed you to stream music wirelessly from your iPad, iPhone, Android devices, as well as DLNA-compatible audio sources.
BeoPlay A9 comes with a 2.1 bass reflex loudspeaker system that combines five dedicated speaker units and amps with a timeless design to create a complete sound solution. It also has a fine-tune DSP (digital signal processor) algorithm to deliver lifelike sound, and thanks to its patented Adaptive Bass linearization technology, which provides rich bass tones.
The BeoPlay A9 speaker consists of two 3-inch midrange units, two 3/4-inch tweeters. All four driven by separate 80-watt class D amplifiers, and a 8-inch bass unit powered by 160 watts class D amplifier. This wireless speaker has three pre-set sound modes includes for wall, corner, or free standing positions.
The A9 wireless speaker comes with solid wood legs (available in oak, beech, and teak color). While the fabric covers are available in silver, white, black, red, green and brown. BeoPlay A9 will be available from Bang & Olufsen stores and B&O PLAY online store in the second half of November this year with a price starting at $2,699.
