Our real world and our around environment are not far from a noise and I can describe it as a noisy world. Wherever you go the noise always following us, such the bustle of the city or distractions in the office, or even when you are in the airplane the plane engine roar inside a plane. At this time if you might seeking a device that can help you to muffle the sound as much as possible, and if possible you also can enjoy soft music and even the tranquility one. The noise cancelling headphones, will be the right answer for all these question.
There are many Noise Cancelling headphones out there, so how we know which is the better one. According to their popularity and experience, Bose headphones is one of the best, especially the Bose noise cancelling headphones they are already in this field for over 20 year ago. As an inventor and a pioneer in noise cancelling technology, Bose has been constantly upgrading its QuietComfort series of noise cancelling headphone and the latest is the Bose QuietComfort 15 which also known as Bose QC15.
The new Bose has incorporates two microphone into their Bose QuietComfort 15, one inside and the other on the outside of each earcup to block noise more effectively. Unlike passive noise cancelling in-ear-monitor which sits inside the ear-canal and seal the outside noise, the active noise cancellation works using the concept of phase cancellation.
The headphones also feature improvements to proprietary Bose ear cushion technology, further reducing unwanted noise. Soft, new cushion materials now block even more noise before it enters the earcups, delivering an even quieter listening experience and a comfortable fit. This relatively small and lightweight earcups allow you to enjoy well-ballanced and detailed audio and all made clearer by advanced noise reduction and even when not listening to the music, you can use these headphones to quickly leave the noise behind and relax.
The Bose QC15 head-band which has a nice leather-soft pad inside and it is extendible which ensures snug fit for different head sizes. The Bose QuietComfort 15′s earcups are also padded with soft leather inside which made using the headphones extra comfortable even after long hours of usage apart from providing nice seal.
The Bose QuietComfort 15 headphones have a detachable cable which has a 3.5mm plug at both the ends and the cord is quite soft and thin. These earpads can also swivel which aid in fitting on both the ears and on its bundled carrying case. The cable plugs in to the base of the left ear-cup while the right has a power-on button and a battery housing which is nicely hidden under the hinge. The Bose QuietComfort 15 headphones weighs just 207.5 g.
Sound and Quality
According to the customers who had trying this Bose headphones, when they just turned on the headphones and it felt more like they were isolated from the outside world and here is what they said :
“When I turned on the QC-15, it was like shutting off the world. The loud rushing sound emitted by the air filter running 15 feet away became nearly inaudible, the low rumble of distant boat, air, and automobile traffic disappeared altogether. The background hiss generated by the QC-15 is noticeably quieter than the QC-2, and the noise cancellation, as Bose advertises, covers much more of the audio range. My QC-2 headset doesn’t do nearly as good job at cancelling the white noise from the air filter as the QC-15, for example.
As for sound quality, the QC-15, to my ear, has better response in the deep bass, from 25-35 hz, and les resonance in the 80-150 hz range. The bass is generally tighter as well. If you’re used to the mild boominess of the QC-2, as I was, it might take you a bit of listening to appreciate the difference. In higher frequency ranges, the QC-15 seems comparable to the QC-2. My 64 year-old ears cut off around 8 khz, so I’d defer to the judgement of younger listeners in this area.…… read more at this link.
And here is the other customers said:
15 months – still using the QC15′s several times per week and they are still holding up well. No fit or finish issues what so ever. I do keep them in their case when not using them and when they are in my laptop bag. Ejoying them even more with my new WP7 phone.
After 4 months of daily use these Headphones are holding up very well (especially the headband and earcups which were crap on the QC2′s). I am still super pleased with this purchase.….. read more at this link.
