China Telecom and Samsung Introduces SCH-W2013 Android Smartphone Powered by Quad Core Processor

China Telecom, the China mobile carrier has collaborated with Samsung Electronics to introduce their latest clamshell Smartphone called SCH-W2013 (心系天下 or can be translated as “the Heart of the World”) which was witnessed by international superstar Jackie Chan.


This new clamshell Smartphone runs Android 4.0 ICS Operating System. It comes with dual 3.7 inches Super AMOLED touchscreen display (800×480) and powered by a quad-core 1.4GHz processor.

SCH-W2013 Android Smartphone support by dual network (GSM and CDMA2000) dual standby dual-channel voice and EVDO, WiFi/WAPI Internet, and global 5 frequency roaming. It’s equipped with 800 million pixels main camera with a 1.9 megapixel front camera. The camera capabilities of record 1080p Full HD video with 30 frames per second. The video can save in it’s 16GB internal storage or via a MicroSD/SDHC card slot that support up to 64GB cards.


Another feature of SCH-W2013 includes, Browser WWW/WAP 2.0, Tianyi Live, navigation software, Pierre lap, and it supports Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n connectivity. This clamshell Smartphone powered by a 1850mAh rechargeable battery. The SCH-W2013 will launch as part of a charity program to help Yunnan Zhaotong people build their homes that hit by an earthquake.


The SCH-W2013 Android Smartphone will be available in China market with a starting price at 18,000 Yuan or about $2,891.
