New York Times report on Friday that TechCrunch are developing a touch screen tablet for web Surfing, they call it CrunchPad and its one step to become reality. On Friday Mr. Arrington has told the San Francisco Business Times that he hold an even at the end of July or the Biginning of Agust ( Q3 ) to make a big announcement about the CrunchPad, and the device would be for sale “as soon as possible.”
Using this CrunchPad are as simple as we are surfing the web. What you have to do is just turning it on and then you can browsing as usual such checking e-mail, reading, or watching video. On this new device you will never find a hard-drive or keyboard, but if you need you may plug it in.
The CrunchPad come with 16 millimeters and at least 12inches that flush with an aluminium case with several color for you to choose. The CrunchPad system will run using Intel Atom Chip and support Flash, which the Apple iPhone cannot and you will find that the CrunchPad will work as good as a netbook or better.
For this moment there is no pricing are mentioned but the rumors said this device will be sold under $300 per unit.
