Eizo has announced their latest 17-inch Touchscreen Monitor, the FlexScan T1721. This new monitor has a new technology called Surface Acoustic Wave(SAW) which offers an excellent durability and responds to input from both a finger and a gloved hand.
Eizo FlexScan T1721 features a 1280×1024 resolution with 1000:1 contrast ratio, DVI-D, D-SUB mini 15 pin inputs allow for simultaneous connection to computers outfitted with digital or analog graphics boards, an automatic brightness sensor called “Auto EcoView” with this function it will automatically adjust the screen light which will saves electricity cost and makes the screen easy to view.
Other features includes a Dual 0.5 watt built-in speakers for audio confirmation of touch input, Four preset viewing modes Text, sRGB, Custom (user defined settings), and EyeCare. EyeCare lowers the screen’s brightness to just 3 cd/m2 and is ideal for work environments with little or no ambient lighting and an Energy Star 5.0 and EPEAT Silver compliant and 3-year manufacturer’s warranty.
