LaCie has just update its Network Space 2 network-attached storage(NAS) and Media Server. Thanks to Neil Poulton with his design you Load all your music, photo and video files onto Lacie’s new Network Space 2 drive and you can access them anywhere on your network.
The LaCie Network Space2 also has a function simply as an external drive over USB can also stream multimedia files to any UPnP and DLNA compliant device, including Sony’s PlayStation 3 or Microsoft’s Xbox 360. LaCie also has an iTunes server software which allow you to play Mac or PC content directly from the drive instead of their local iTunes libraries.
The LaCie Network Space2 come in 1TB or 2TB capacities which with one Terabytes of capacity you can storage up to 300,000 photos or 300,000 songs or 1,400 Movies. Network Space 2 will be available in late October for Europe and mid November for Worldwide, through the LaCie Online Store, LaCie Corner, LaCie Reseller+, authorized resellers and retailers.
