LG Announces To Show 4mm Thick 55-inch OLED TV at CES 2012

Finally, LG has announced to show its up-coming 55-inch OLED TV at CES 2012, which previously is said that they are planning to show it at CES this year. According to the latest news LG new 55-inch OLED TV will be just 4mm thick and this new TV also has been claimed as one of the world’s largest OLED TV. As we had known Samsung  has also prepared to launch their 55-inch OLED at CES this year.


According to LG Electronics, their new OLED TV will come with 4-color Pixels and Color Refiner to provide natural and accurate colors that sharp and consistent. The 4-color pixels is using a set of four colors (blue, green, red, and white) in comparison to the RGB setup used by other OLED TV manufacturers. While the Color Rifiner is used for ensures consistency in colors from a wider viewing angle via an LG algorithm which improves and refines hues and tones. The new LG OLED TV comes in super-thin bezel with weight just 7.5 kg.

About the details and pricing for this OLED TV will be reveal at CES 2012 in Las Vegas which will be held on January 10th to 13th 2012.
