Maserati Introduces GranCabrio MC at the Paris International Motor Show 2012

After two years since Maserati unveiled its GranTurismo MC Stradale at the Paris Auto Show 2010, now the company has back with introducing their upcoming vehicle called Maserati GranCabrio MC at Paris International Motor Show 2012. This four seats, two doors, and no roof sport car come in highly sporty and aggressive look, while maintaining the strengths and characteristics of a true Grand Tourer. This new sports car is ideal for long journeys.

According to the company, Maserati GranCabrio MC sport car comes in 52 millimeters longer than its standard and sport version of the GranCabrio. The vehicle is characterized by a front end which is inspired directly by the MC Stradale, adopting a profile designed to optimize the aerodynamic lift and flow. The new design perfectly blends sportiness, dynamism, the search for aerodynamic perfection, elegance and style.

The Maserati GranCabrio MC will equip with Coupe’s 4.7 liter V8 engine that can pump up a total of 338 kW (450 HP) with substantial torque of 520 Nm at 4,750 rpm. The new power unit, in combination with the MC Auto Shift transmission, is now able to propel the GranCabrio MC, in closed soft-top configuration, to a top speed of 289 km/h with acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.

When the Maserati GranCabrio MC Stradale arrived in the US market, it will be priced at about $150,000 for each unit.
