McLaren P1 Supercar Revealed Ahead of 2012 Paris Motor Show

McLaren has recently teased their car enthusiast by releasing six official photos (can be viewed in the video below) of their upcoming McLaren P1 supercar. According to the latest news, this new supercar will debut next week at the Paris Motor Show; the production should be starting following year and will arrive in the market within one year from now.


The McLaren P1 supercar is expected to combine the 3.8-liter V8 from the MP4-12C with some kind of hybrid system that could produce almost 1,000 horsepower.


According to McLaren managing director Antony Sheriff :

“Our aim is not necessarily to be the fastest in absolute top speed but to be the quickest and most rewarding series production road car on a circuit… It is the true test of a supercar’s all round ability and a much more important technical statement. Our goal is to make the McLaren P1 the most exciting, most capable, most technologically advanced and most dynamically accomplished supercar ever made.”

The details of McLaren P1 supercar will be unveiled in Paris on September 27th, 2012. The price for this supercar is predicting around $650,000. More information about this supercar can be read at
