Microsoft Introducing 5 Different Prototype Multi-Touch Mice 2.0

Mirosoft recently has introduced a new line of multi-touch computer mice. There is five different prototype of multi touch mice 2.0, each protorype of the mouse will provide you a different senssing strategy, physycal form-factor and interctive capabilities. And here the five mice:

1. FTIR Mouse

FTIR mouse

Applies the principle of Frustated Total internal reflection to illuminate a user’s fingers, and uses  camer to track multiple ponts of touch on its curved transluent surface.

2. Orb Mouse

Orb Mouse

Equipped with an internal camera and source of diffused infrared illumination, it can track the user’s hand accross the entirety of its hemispherical surface.

3. Cap Mouse

Ues a matrix of captive touch-sensing electrodes to track the position of the user’s fingertips along its surface.

4. Side Mouse

Use  proximity-sensing technology (sidesight) to track multi-finger gestures in the region around the device.

5. Arty Mouse

Equipped with three optical mouse sensor track the individual movement of the wrist, thumb and index finger.

There are no words on availability and prices, it seem we must wait till their official press release to have all its details information.
