Mitsubishi announced pricing of i-Miev Electric Car

Mitsubishi have announced that they are going to selling their new product ” i-Miev Electric car”. The time was schedule on July next Month. But for the first launching its limited for the goverment group and corporation only. i-Miev Electric car will be available widely on April 2010.

The i-Miev Electric car will be sold for 4,380,000 yen, or about $45,300 at current exchange rates. Japanese buyers of the i-Miev would qualify for a $14,300 subsidy for electric vehicles from the Japanese government.

This i-Miev Electric car running using a lithium ion battery pack and a 47-kilowatt electric motor. With full charged the electric car can running up to 100 miles. Recharging the batteries from a quick charger takes 30 minutes, but if you recharging from a 200 volt outlet its takes seven hours. With using Regenerative brakes the electric car auto recharge the battery during driving.

If you want to know the color availability I think you must disappointed because the color only available at launching time.
