Motorola and Verizon Wireless officially unveiled the Droid smartphone today. The Motorola Verizon Droid phone has an 480×854 pixels resolution, 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display. This is the first time Verizon partnership withgoogle, so the Droid will also feature Android 2.0.
The Droid phone also feature a new Google Maps Navigation Beta servis, Gmail, Youtube, Google talk, Android Market, Calendar, Amazon MP3 store, and Verizon wireless Visual Voice Mail. Motorola Verizon Droid Phone Other features include a 3G using Verizon’s EVDO Rev. A network, Bluetooth, a network assist-GPS, 16GB memory card, 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and the ability to record DVD-quality video.
In additional the droid phone come with specs Webkit HTML 5 browser that supports double tapping to zoom, powered by TI OMAP 3430 processor run up to 600MHz, a 1,400mAh lithium ion battery which will provide you up to 6.4 hours talk time and up to 11 days of stanby mode. The device come with measures 6.6 x 2.4 x 0.5inch (TxWxD) and 6 ounces weight.
The Motorola Verizon Droid phone will be available Starting November 6, price will be at $199 with two-year contract after a $100 MIR.
