NEC has announced a new MultiSync LCD monitor, The energy-efficient 17-inch MultiSync LCD175M-BK monitor. Nec intended to use this new LCD Monitor for business environments such as IT, Corporate and Education.
The LCD175M-BK is a 17-inch MultiSync LCD Monitor features an EPEATTM Gold rating, Energy Star 5.0 and TCO 5.0 compliance. with The ECO ModeTM technology will help you to reduce power consumption up to 42 percent than its predecessors, Intelligent Power Manager (IPM) system and off timer provide innovative power-saving methods and reduce CO2 emissions by shifting to a lower power consumption level or automatically powering down when the monitor is on but not in use.
Carbon footprint meter helps track and calculate the reduction of green gas emissions, a Compact packaging helps reduce paper usage, shipping costs and waste and Ambix dual-input technology allows for digital/analog compatibility with upgraded video cards and software as well as connection to two systems.
The LCD175M-BK will available in November 2009 with an estimate street price at $179.
