Nikon Corporation the Japanese company that specializing in optics and imaging products has introduced their latest mirrorless camera, the Nikon 1 J5. This new J series camera claimed as the world’s fastest continuous shooting with Auto Focus (AF) and the world’s shortest shooting time lag.
Nikon 1 J5 features a 20.8 megapixel 1-inch CX format BSI sensor, an incredible 171 point contrast detect AF system with 105 phase detect AF points, and an EXPEED 5A image processor.
It supports 4K video recording but only at 15 frames per second which isn’t quite a selling point, but there’s a more useful 1080p 60 recording mode as well 120 frames per second slow motion 720p video.
Nikon 1 J5 has an ISO range of 1600 to 12,800. On the rear of the camera is a 3-inch 1037k dot touchscreen display with 180-degree tilt. and it’s support for NFC and WiFi connectivity to your smartphone or tablet device.
This new camera compatible with entire 1 NIKKOR series of lenses and the DX and FX mount NIKKOR lenses with the FT-1 mount adapter.
The camera will be sold starting price at $499.95 with the 1 NIKKOR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 PD-Zoom lens or you can get 1 NIKKOR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 PD-Zoom lens and 1 NIKKOR VR 30-110mm f/3.8-5.6 lens for $749.95.
