Panasonic has announced its latest digital camera, the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GF3. This camera is the company’s smallest and lightest digital interchangeable lens camera with built-in flash. The DMC-GF3 is based on the Micro Four Thirds standard of lenses. The GF3 digital camera comes with 3-inch touchscreen and it has the same 12.10 Mpix Live MOS 4/3 sensor as its predecessor but with a faster processor who provides 120Hz auto-focus.
Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GF3 features a full-High Definition 1080/60i video, it capable to capture full-resolution photos at up to 4 frames per second, this camera and also capable shooting 3D still photos, it comes with an extremely fast contrast-detect auto-focus system which can lock on a subject in approximately 0.1 to 0.18 second depend on the lens attached.
LUMIX DMC-GF3 digital camera other features includes 3D lens, face recognition, ISO speed 160 up to 6400, Intelligent Scene Selector, SDXC and SDHC.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF3 will be available in black, white, red and brown bodies for a suggested retail prices of $699.99 with the 14mm lens kit system starting in July 2011, while the 14-42mm lens kit system will be sold for $599.99 starting in late August 2011.
