on August 5th,2009 Pentax has announced the the Optio P80 and Optio E80, both of them are Digital Compact camera. The Optio P80 come with feature styllish and ultra slim camera body around 16.5mm depth, 4X zoom lens,2.7 inch LCD monitor, face recognice function auto detecting 32 faces in 0.03 seconds,also offers other user-friendly features to help the photographer produce attractive portraits with minimal effort.
a 12.1 Megapixel sensor, a 4X PENTAX wide angle zoom lens with 27.5 wide angle, a 2.7-inch LCD display, PENTAX Shake Reduction (SR) technology, Face Detection, Smile Capture and ISO up to 6400. Available in three fashionable colors including Black, Pearl, and Mint, this camera is able to record 720p HD video at 30fps.
On the other hand, the Pentax Optio E80 come with feature of 2.7 inch color LCD monitor with approximately 230,000 dots, user friendly operation with large buttons and menu text, auto picture mode for automatic selection of the ideal shooting mode, 10 Megapixel CCD, a 3X optical zoom lens, ISO up to 6400, and Face Detection. The camera is capable of recording 720p HD video at 15fps.
The Pentax Optio P80 and E80 will be released in September 2009 for $199.95 and $129.95.
