pureSilicon Inc. has introduced their latest generation of rugged solid-state drives(SSD), the Renegade R2. The new SSD Renegade offering a high-performance, enchanted read speed up to 255MB/s and write speeds up to 180MB/s, its also offering data security technology to secure your data.
Renegade R2 also has improved IOPS random read up to 18,000 IOPS @ 4K; random write up to 1,200 IOPS @ 4K. pureSilicon Renegade are available immediately in six optional capacity (4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB) with SATA II configuration, in a low profile (9.5mm height) 2.5-inch form factor. 256GB, PATA, 1.8-inch form factor, and encryption versions will start shipping in Q1 2010.
