QNAP Systems the maker of Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Network Video Recorder (NVR), has recently announced three new Network Attach Storage (NAS), the QNAP TS-119P II, TS-219P II, and TS-419P II. The TS-119P II is a one-drive tower NAS with one Gigabit Ethernet LAN Port, one eSATA port and two USB 2.0 ports. While the TS-219P II basically almost the same as TS-119P II, but it comes with two drives and two eSATA ports, and the TS-419P II comes with four- drive tower with two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two eSATA ports and three USB ports. These new storage devices are designed for business and home users.
All these Network Attached storages powered by a 2.0 GHz Marvel Processor and offer up to 109MBps for download speed, and up to 75MBps for upload speed. Other features include cross-platform SMB/CIFS, Windows Active Directory and LDAP, SSL/TLS encryption on FTP, policy-based unauthorized IP blocking and remote login.
Each model of NAS power consumes up to four watts in sleep mode and seven watts in operation time and with an optional MyCloudNAS service from QNAP, which can be used to convert the NAS drives into private cloud storage systems.
The QNAP TS-119P II, TS-219P II, and TS-419P II will be available with an expected retail price of $300, $400, and $570, respectively. However, no word on releasing date at this moment.
