On July 2,2009 samsung has announched their new Eco-friendly mobile phone “Samsung S3030″ in netherlands. The first time introducing this Samsung S3030 Tobi slider phone was on November 2008 at that time known as a phone for kids.
The Samsung S3030 was made out with bio-plastics, so its free of BFR (brominated flame retardants) and PVC and also with the charger using the eco-friendly materials too, and including with the Samsung S3030 packaging is also designed with 100% recyclable materials. Its seem the samsung really and serious in leading using Eco-Friendly materials in their products.
The New Samsung S3030 mobile phone come with features MP3 player, FM radio, photo camera(around 1.3MP), and MicroSD card support, up to 8 GB.
In Netherlands this Samsung S3030 Eco-friendly mobile was sold for €89.95 on pre-pay. No confirmation yet, if the phone will be available for worldwide although it probably will be. Let’s hope they will launch their Eco friendly phone for sharing with worldwide friends who also love Eco green device.
