Samsung has just announced its latest version of their Galaxy Note GT-N7000 (the International Version, now available at Amazon.com for $539), the Galaxy Note II (model N7100). This new phone tablet (phablet) comes with a larger screen (now 5.5 HD Super AMOLED Display) to provide breathtaking visuals and crystal clear detail.
Besides coming with a larger screen, they also have improved its stylus S Pen that allows you to write on the screen with ease. It has a more powerful processor (now with 1.6GHz Quad-Core, previously 1.4GHz dual-core processor). Galaxy Note II at a glance looks like Galaxy S III. However, it comes in slimmer, longer, and wider design.
The Galaxy Note II sports a new Air View feature, which allowed you to hover with the S Pen over an email, image gallery, S Planner, or video to preview the content without having to open it. This phablet equipped with an eight Megapixel main camera with BSI sensor, a 1.9 Megapixel front-facing camera for video chats, LED flash, and capable of Full HD video recording.
Other features include Best Photo, Buddy Photo Share, Burst Shot and Best Faces feature that allows you to choose the most preferred face or pose of each person from group portrait photos. It supports HDMI connection with HDTV, NFC, Samsung AllShare for wireless media sharing, Glonass, and MHL.
Other than supports GPS, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, the Galaxy Note II also works on 3D HSPA+ and LTE 4G mobile networks.
Samsung Galaxy Note II is scheduled to launch in October starting in major European, Asian, and Middle East markets. It will be available in two-color options, Marble White or Titanium Gray. Unfortunately, no word on pricing yet.
