Seagate has once again breaking through the storage record limit. This time, they are presenting the 3TB storage on a single hard drive with five-platter drive, but it’s only available for BlackArmor Network Attach Storage system.

The 3TB hard drive is dropped to the Barracuda XT family, but for now, there is no option for getting the hard drive separately. Seagate force buyers that want to enjoy the new storage capacity to buy their BlackArmor NAS 440 with RAID 5, which in total will cost about $1,899 (total of 12TB – 3GB x 4 hot-swappable slots).
