Smartbook the German base company has released its latest tablet called Surfer. This 7-inch tablet is an Android based tablet that runs Android 2.1 Operating System, come with 800 x 480 pixels touchscreen display and a telechips TTC8902 720MHz processor.
The Surfer tablet features 256MB of DDR2 RAM memory, 2GB of NAND FLASH memory, WiFi/WLAN 802.11 b/g module, a microSD slot, GPS module, 1400mAh battery, a microSD card slot used for extending the built-in memory. The Surfer also has two USB 2.0 ports and a HDMI interface for connecting to a HDTV. The Smartbook Surfer support WMA, MP3, WAV, OOG, AAC, EAAC audio files format, and also JPG, GIF, BMP, PNG image file format.
Smartbook Surfer is currently available on Smartbook’s website at €249 (US$328), but at German lower market price for €179, or about $234.
