Sony Introduces Xperia Tablet Z Powered by Quad-Core Processor

Sony Mobile Communication has back with introducing their latest tablet called Xperia Tablet Z. It is a 10.1-inch tablet with 1920 x 1200 Full HD Reality Display provides high-brightness and high-definition video. This tablet runs with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (API level 16), and powered by a quad-core Qualcomm APQ8064 1.5GHz processor.


The Xperia Tablet Z features Mobile Bravia Engine 2 technology, an 8.1-megapixel camera on the back that works with Exmore R technology which allowed the camera automatically  adjust to the optimal settings when in dark place. This tablet will be paired with 2GB of RAM, and 4G LTE connectivity. Another feature includes S-Force Front Surround 3D (Sony’s unique virtual surround sound technology) to achieve a sense of spaciousness, and NFC (Near Field Communication).


According to Sony, the Xperia Tablet Z will be available in Japan’s Market this spring in black or white color option. However, no word on availability around the globe nor the price.
