Sony Memory Stick XC series with 2TB Capacity

Sony has making a huge jump with announcing memory stick XC series. On their previous Series of Memory Stick Pro the maximum capacity of storage 32GB only. But in their new Memory Stick XC series its has reached maximum capacity  to 2TB which its mean 60 times lager than the previous series.

The Sony Memory Stick XC series can be devide in four major specs as follow:

  • Memory Stick XC Duo with dimension of 20mm(H)x31mm(W)x1.6mm(T), 10 pins terminal connector, 2TB capacity, data transfer rate up to 160 Mbps(20MB/s), min reading/writing speed up to 32 mbps, maximum data transfer unit up to 512 byte and clock frequency up to 40MHz.
  • Memory Stick XC Micro with dimension of 15mm(H)x12.5mm(W)x1.2mm(T), 11 pins terminal connector, 2TB capacity, data transfer rate up to 160 Mbps(20MB/s), min reading/writing speed up to 15 mbps, maximum data transfer unit up to 512 byte and clock frequency up to 40MHz.
  • Memory Stick XC-HG Duo with dimension of 20mm(H)x31mm(W)x1.6mm(T), 14 pins terminal connector, 2TB capacity, data transfer rate up to 480 Mbps(20MB/s), min reading/writing speed up to 120 mbps, maximum data transfer unit up to 2,048 byte and clock frequency up to 60MHz.
  • Memory Stick XC-HG Micro with dimension of 15mm(H)x12.5mm(W)x1.2mm(T), 20 pins terminal connector, 2TB capacity, data transfer rate up to 480 Mbps(20MB/s), min reading/writing speed up to 120 mbps, maximum data transfer unit up to 2,048 byte and clock frequency up to 60MHz.

Unfortunately the pricing are not available at this moment, but at least we had known its specs so you can decided which one are suitable for you.
