Spirit and Samsung yesterday have announced the upcoming availability of Samsung Moment, Samsung’s first U.S handset integrating the open and innovative android platform.
The Samsung Moment features 3.2-inch AMOLED touch-screen, powered by an 800 MHz processor making this device to be the fastest wireless phones available today, a full qwerty keyboard, a 3.2 Mega pixel auto focus camera with flash and video recording, Bluetooth 2.0, built-in media player, microSD card slot and GPS support.
The Samsung Moment also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 3G network and provides access to build-in google mobile service ( Google Search, Google Maps and Gmail ) and also thousands of applications available in Android Market. The Samsung Moment will be available this holiday season with a retail price at $179.99 after a $50 instant saving and $100 MIR with two year contract.
