Toshiba the JournE Touch Multimedia Tablet

Toshiba has relesed their new tablet PCs, The JournE Touch Multimedia Tablet. The Toshiba tablet features a 7-inch JournE touchscreen with LED backlighting and a stylus for non touch-optimized apps.

With the JournE Touch you can do it, any time, with your fingertips. You can put in your bag, hang it on the fridge, put it on the table, and it will always be available to connect the internet. The JournE Touch is base on windows Embedded, the interface is far more akin to an Apple iPhone, with all the most common programs arranged on the home screen as icons.

The JournE Touch Multimedia Tablet with battery life up to 14 hour and it uses 802.11bg Wi-Fi, 1GB of internal standard memory. The JournE Touch Multimedia Tablet will available in the fourth quater of this year with estimated street price of €249 (equal to $350)
