While Century busy with introducing their CRM-U3 USB 3.0 Card Reader, USRobotics has already starting to enter in the market with announced the availability of their new All-in-one USB 3.0 Card Reader/Wirter called USR8420 All-in-one USB 3.0 card reader/writer. According to the company, their All-in-one USB 3.0 card reader/writer is the first of its kind with duplicated SD card slots. This new reader/writer supports total of five card slots includes an SD card, an SD/MMC/Memory Stick, a Compact Flash, a Memory Stick, and one for SmartMedia.
The USR8420 All-in-one USB 3.0 card reader/writer supports all new card formats such as SDHC with UHS, UDMA, SDXC, MSXC, and CF. This card reader also allowing two cards of the same type to be access at the same time. The USR8420 card reader offers to read the card simultaneously with speed at up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 card reader.
The new USRobotics USR8420 All-in-One USB 3.0 Card Reader/Writer is currently available with a retail price starting at $39.99. However, Amazon had offering this card reader with cheaper price at $31.67.
