Vision Research a manufacturer of high speed digital imaging system recently has announced their new Phantom Miro eX series cameras, a true point and shoot digital high speed camera. The new Phantom Miro ex given more power and versatility in the palm of users’ hands thanks to an exciting new range of advanced features and functionality.

The Vision Research Phantom Miro eX series camera available in 3 models, the Miro eX1, Miro eX2 and eX4. The Miro eX come with features of Phantom Miro eX for full resolution frame rates of 500 fps to over 1,200 fps, its also offers super fast exposure times as low sa two microsecond(1/500,000 second), allowing users to freeze fast moving objects and eliminate blur from their video, ISO-12232, a CMOS sensor.

Phantom Miro eX also features 3.5 inch touchscreen LCD and through the LCD, users can play and rewind, trim with in- and out-points as well as manage multi-cine setups and Vision Research’s new Image-Based Auto-Trigger feature. The Miro eX is also compatible with any one-inch C-mount lens, and using an F-mount adapter, the camera can also utilize standard 35mm lenses. The Phantom Miro eX given their users three option to choose their internal memori, they are 1GB, 2GB and 4GB.

Although the cameras have no official retail price they are expected to start just of $10,000, so obviously they are aimed at the high-end professional market. The Phantom Miro available to order online at www.visionresearch.com
