WD Introduced WD My Passport Essential and My Passport for Mac

The world’s leader in external storage solution in September 10th, 2009 has introduced their newest three “S” product (the Smaller, Smarter and Secure) WD My Passport Essential and My Passport for Mac ultra-portable  external hard drives.

The new WD My Passport Essential and My Passport and MY Passport for Mac ultra-portable  external hard drives come with 20 percent smaller size than the previous version, more Smart with using WD’s new WD SmartWave Software and more secure with equipped with hardware-base encryption, which will scramble files before they are stored on the disk.

This time WD My passport Essential comes with capacity storage of 320GB, 500GB and 640GB; My Passport Essential SE drives are offered  in capacities of 750GB and 1TB and at the same time WD My Passport for Mac also comes with two capacities of 320 and 500 GB. My Passport Essential and My Passport for Mac’s drives is available beginning today at select retailers and online with starting price at $109.99 to 249.99, all depending on the model you choose.
