With the boast about their new USB 3.0 enabled portable hard drives, it doesn’t mean they Western Digital will left the USB 2.0 market instantly. Recently, the company has just debuting their new WDC My Book Live Edition of external hard drive, which designed exclusively for backup, media storage, and streaming content to DLNA-certified devices.

Or to be short, Western Digital My Book Live is a mini NAS system that could be hooked with the LAN network. It offering a Gigabit Ethernet (up to 100Mbps) at the rear side, and WD SmartWare software to make backup automation. Even better, the hard drive is just 1.09kg in weight, which is pretty easily to carry around, from office to home or vise versa. Western Digital My Book Live is also backed with three-year warranty.
