Xplore Technologies has back with introducing its latest rugged tablet called the iX104C5-M2. It is a fully rugged tablet that already meets the MIL-STD-810G military specification and IP67 rating that can survive even you use it in extreme environments.

According to the company the iX104C5-M2 rugged tablet shockproof up to 7-foot drop, it can be immerse in the water down to 3.28 feet or around 1 meter deep. It also dustproof and can be operated in temperature between 34F to 140F. The tablet has meet UL1604 and ATEX Certified for hazardous areas that mean this tablet can be operated in explosion prone environment without causing sparks. The iX104C5-M2 also MIL-STD-461F Certified tablet, that can be use on both military frontlines and fixed-wing aircraft.

The iX104C5-M2 rugged tablet come with common access card (CAC) reader to protect and secured the data during military military operations. It also designed to protect against Foreign Object Damage (FOD) and designed for integration of future standards.

The iX104C5-M2 rugged tablet powered by Intel Core i70620UE processor with integrated HD graphics, 160GB mSATA Solid State Drive (SSD) and supports dual SSD drive with RAID. It equipped with 4GB of RAM that can be expand up to 8GB. This 10.4-inch tablet comes with 1024×768 LED-backlit display that utilizes Dual-Mode AllVue Xtreme Technology (outdoor sunlight-readable display).

Furthermore, this tablet also supports USB port, RJ-45, serial port, WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth and optional Highly Accurate Sub meter GPS. It backed by company 3 year warranty with single point-of-contact support.
