Yuneec offers the e430 single-seat electric plane, this two seat electro-pane has been flying test for six months and they said it will be ready to purchase in the market next year. According to the company this electrically powered plane could change the world, and it will cost you just $2 per hour of its flight.

The e430   two seat electro plane come with 25:1 glide ratio, the lightweight composite-construction E430 charges in three hours from a domestic 230 volt powerpoint and runs for two and half hours on a charge.

The e430 two-seat electro-plane comes with specification as follow : Wing Span: 13.8 m (45.2 ft) Fuselage Length: 6.68 m (21.9 ft) Empty Weight: 178 kg (392 lbs) (No Battery) Maximum Takeoff Weight: 430 kg (946 lbs) Motor Output: 40 kw (54 hp) @ 2,450rpm Battery Type: Lithium Polymer Battery Weight: 72 kg (158.5 lbs) (6 Packs).

The e430 two-seat electro-plane has been test by Shun Xun on June 12nd,2009 at Yuneec factory near Shanghai, China and reportedly both very quiet and vibration-free. It will be available next year and it will cost you $89,000.
